The SAP database application integrator will work with the programmer analyst and development team to integrate solutions on production database servers.
Responsibilities:
Monitoring of database jobs and handling exceptions.
Monitoring the health of the database servers and storage/memory utilization.
Ensuring that the database servers are tuned for maximum performance for the application mix.
Loading data into the database and extracting data for ad-hoc reports.
Database Backup, Restore and disaster recovery.
Working with application developers in designing high-performance client-server and web applications.
Designing and developing SQL scripts, stored procedures and triggers.
Installation and maintenance of database server, replication and client environments.
Integration of SAP HANA into different remote systems. Exposure to different remote access options in HANA system.
Experience in monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting of SAP HANA systems.
HANA system administration using SAP HANA Cockpit and HANA Studio.
Implementing SAP HANA Table management techniques - data compression, table partition, compression techniques, and load/unload table into memory.
HANA Installation, Data Provisioning, Admin, Modelling.
Experience with Disaster Recovery DB server setup, high availability and backup mechanism.
Implementing SAP HANA Security mechanism, HANA XS Application service, and monitoring of HANA system.
Analyze business processes and design workflows for communication interfaces for 3rd party integrations.
QUALIFICATION
SAP Certified OS/DB migration
Business administration or management
Computer programming or science background
Experience working with SAP administration with DBA Cockpit administration, SAP Control Centre and Multitenant DB Container Management.
Working knowledge Unix shell scripting.
Experience with Oracle EXADATA
