Responsibilities
Develop facility and roof drawings in CAD.
Develop detail drawings for roof replacement, building envelope, and fall protection projects in CAD in conjunction with the design team.
Collaboration with the design team to ensure the accuracy of the drawings.
Work with the project team to solve project-related issues collectively with the contractor and the client.
Assist with roof and building envelope assessments with team members.
Conduct field assessments for roofing and building envelope systems, including: measuring, drawing, intrusive testing, identifying deficiencies, and preparing inspection and condition assessment reports.
Developing cost projections for remedial measures to address issues identified during the inspection process

Qualifications
Deep familiarity with Canadian Construction Codes and Standards relating to commercial and institutional buildings
Graduate from a three (3) year tech. school diploma in Architectural or Engineering Technology
A minimum of three (3) years of CAD drafting experience in consulting or construction fields
In-depth knowledge of CAD and Microsoft Office software is essential.
An ability to take direction, work independently, and work as a team.
