Description

Vendasta's Marketing team is looking to add a Designer to their talented team!

Responsibilities:
Establish a comprehensive understanding of the corporate brand guidelines and ensure a strong alignment of style, voice, and messaging
Conduct ongoing market and user research to leverage data and ensure that designs alleviate website users frictions points and serve a great user experience
Understanding of how to break down complex messaging and products into intuitive user experiences
Demonstrates a good understanding of best practices and standards used in web design, ad design, email design and graphic design
Prototype conceptual drafts and solicit feedback as required
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and teams to establish a vision for design, and the ability to present design ideas to a large group of people
Ability to work within and extend design systems
Ability to communicate with engineers about implementation details
Collaborate with data analysts to measure the effectiveness of marketing and design
Coach more junior designers on the team to help level up their skills

Qualifications:
5+ years experience in professional web design
Bachelors degree or diploma in fine art, design, marketing, or related discipline
Proven graphic design and layout skills with a focus on user behaviour and HCI
Capacity to create the visual aspects of web pages and related marketing materials for GTM campaigns
Comprehensive knowledge and experience with HTML and CSS
Demonstrates a good understanding of best practices and standards used in web design
Ability to work simultaneously on multiple projects in a deadline-oriented work environment
Knowledge and experience in working with WordPress is an asset.
