We are a custom hydraulic and pneumatic manufacturing company with products exported globally. We pride ourselves in producing high quality custom cylinders to meet our customers needs, from our in-house engineering design to the finished product being delivered on our customers specified schedule. Our focus is providing this service to agricultural, mining, industrial, oil and gas, as well as the transportation sector to help them achieve more productivity and profit.
We are looking to hire a motivated and hard-working permanent full-time machinist in our Yorkton plant. The ideal candidate should have the ability to understand the whole process from design to manufacturing and be able to work independently and with a team. The successful candidate must be able to operate CNC and Manual lath, mill and saw independently. Through experience, applicants should be able to identify the simplest path to quality and efficiency in all aspects of their work.
Qualification:
5 years of experience in operating CNC and manual machines.
Ability to use measurement tools example inch size tape measure, caliper, micrometer etc.
Ability to use power tools example die grinder, angle grinder, drill press etc. and regular hand tools;
Knowledge of using computers;
Understand quality control and quality control documentation;
Conscious and adhere to safe work practices;
Team player and self motivated;
Multi-task and good time management skill;
Good communication skills;
Must live in Canada and have permission to work in Canada.
The ideal candidate will also have:
Journeyman machinist certificate:
Previous work experience with Robotic assisted manufacturing, ISO quality control environment and forklift.
