Southeast Regional Library is seeking a Branch Assistant to work at Montmartre Public Library Branch. This is a casual position offering a minimum of 2-3 hr shifts a month. The opportunity to work at additional locations is an option.

Branch Assistants support the branch librarian in the operation of the local library branch.  They implement current information technology in all aspects of their work including circulation functions, record-keeping, reporting, and communications. They circulate library materials and maintain appropriate records. They assist patrons in finding resources/information.  They receive direction and training from the branch librarian and work with considerable independence.
