Requirements:
Must be legal drinking age
Must have Serve it Right Certification from Saskatchewan
Must have a customer first attitude
Must be able to work well as a part of a team
Must be comfortable speaking to groups of 2-20 guests at one time
2 years in a retail / customer service facing environment preferred
1 year bartending experience is an asset
1 year serving experience is an asset
Willingness to learn and support their team
Must be available to work during Wednesday-Sunday schedule from June to September
Must be willing to work outdoors rain or shine
Job Description:
Be a leader in creating a welcoming environment for guests
Work as part of a team to meet and exceed goals set by Black Fox
Share product knowledge for all of our spirits, answering guest questions and providing recommendations based on their taste
Create and serve cocktails with a high attention to quality
Serve cocktails, as well as prepared food to our guests
Recommend and share your favourite cocktails with guests to help them make an informed choice
Washing, storing and maintaining glassware, bar tools etc
Work the sales floor by recommending seasonal, mainstay and feature spirits
Be flexible for set up, and provide an exceptional guest experience for corporate events
Host tours throughout the farm and distillery
Offer gin and whisky tastings, and educating guests on what makes the Black Fox technique unique
