Sales/Business Development Associate (Retail/Food Ingredients/Nutrition)
As a driven and strategic B2B Sales Professional,you will represent and contribute to the growth of a reputable, expanding Saskatchewan food product and ingredient supplier currently exporting to over 20 Countries.
As Sales/Business Development Associate based in Regina, Sask, you will focus on new marketplace opportunities in the retail/food ingredient and nutrition markets, in collaboration with the President and Production team.

Reporting to the President, you will work primarily in the office with occasional flight travel. You will:
a) Expand and maintain market share for the organization by generating new business in the retail, food/beverage ingredient and nutrition industries, initially within North America, and then internationally. Identify new opportunities through effective market research, attendance at trade shows, networking, prospecting and achieving revenue objectives.
b) Provide customer follow-up, maintain sales records and document sales calls.
c) Participate in new product development, working closely with the production team and employees.
Requirements:
-- Post-secondary education in business/marketing or agriculture is an asset.
-- Related experience in B2B sales and a proven track record of business development and closing sales. Experience in the food space/retail and the agriculture industry is a definite asset.
-- Ability to work with the R&D department on new product development.
--Self-motivated sales/business development leader who is passionate about establishing relationships, customer interaction and achieving results. Ambitious and ready to build a long-term career through teamwork within an expanding organization.
