A permanent, full-time position is available for an Internist with excellent professional and communication skills. The successful candidate will join our team of two Internist's and provide internal medicine services to the residents of Yorkton and surrounding areas out of the Yorkton Regional Health Centre.
The scope of practice includes inpatient and outpatient care, emergency consults and specialist on-call coverage. On call coverage is required on a rotational basis (1:3).
Job Qualifications:
-Fellow (or be eligible for Fellowship) with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC) in Internal Medicine
-Registered or eligible to register with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan (CPSS) and be licensed to practice medicine in Saskatchewan.
-A valid drivers license
-Legal entitlement to work in Canada
-Minimum of 3 acceptable references
-An acceptable criminal record check with vulnerable sector search
-Physicians must maintain membership and insurance with the Canadian Medical Protective Association
-In accordance with immigration requirements, preference will be given to Canadian citizens and permanent residents
