Description

Seeking QUALIFIED concrete FINISHERS with PROVEN EXPERIENCE in concrete finishing and/or ride-on and walk-behind power trowel operations.

MUST BE LOCAL TO SASKATOON AREA!

Duties include assisting in the placing and finishing of a variety of concrete floors.

Hours are M-F and occasional weekends. Overtime as required, with varying hours. Must be willing to start work early mornings, on time, and be prepared to work late into the evenings, on occasion. Steel-toe boots required. Other necessary personal protective equipment provided. Class 5 drivers license and own vehicle to get to local job site. We use company trucks to car pool to job sites outside of Saskatoon.  

ONLY Saskatchewan (local) candidates with related experience and/or experience in the concrete and/or construction industry will be considered.

Experience in concrete placing and finishing, form building, compactors, concrete vibrators, concrete saws, and other concrete tools and equipment an asset.  

Decision-making and problem-solving are important. Manual dexterity and the ability to work in a physically demanding job an asset.

MUST be able to start work by the expected start date (relocation expenses not covered), be willing to work on the road days, evenings, weekends, and up to 12-hour shifts if needed; and up to or over 40 hours per week, as needed. Overtime applies.  

Ability to handle heavy loads up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and complete repetitive tasks; self-motivated, team-oriented and able to work under tight timelines in a fast-paced environment; willing to work in indoor and outdoor environments under varying temperatures and weather conditions; able to identify, understand, and comply with WHMIS safety and other regulations.
