Denali Transport Inc is currently looking for 4 Truck Dispatchers for the Full-Time Position.

Job duties and responsibilities:
Coordinate and manage the schedules of Truck drivers fleet (Approximately 10) assigned to the employee to ensure products and goods are picked up and delivered in a timely manner.
Applicant should have the knowledge about trucking industry, North America routes.
Advise drivers of route and traffic problems such as construction, accidents, congestion, weather conditions, weight and size restrictions and other information.
Book truck loads by contacting customers and using online software.
Arrange the delivery and pick up of freight.
Create routes and be available to make changes throughout the day as situations arise.

Should have good judgment skills and the ability to make decisions quickly.
Should be able to work and collaborate with customer service and invoicing department.
Applicant should have strong communication skills, Especially on Emails.
Applicant should be able to absorb the pressure of the workload in fast paced environment.
Communicate with Shippers, receivers to book appointments for deliveries and pickups.
Maintain records of daily mileage, fuel use and other operations.
Maintain vehicle operator work records using computerized or manual methods and ensure time sheets and payroll summaries are completed accurately.
Strong knowledge of MS Outlook, Word, Excel.
