Description

Qualifications:    
Education requirements include: Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Nursing or Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Psychiatric Nursing.
Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan Registered Nurses Association (SRNA) or Registered Psychiatric Nurses Association of Saskatchewan (RPNAS)
Knowledge of the principles and practices of Psychosocial (Psychiatric) Rehabilitation and Recovery-Oriented Practice.
Must work effectively as a team member and model a pro-active approach, flexibility, tolerance, perseverance and competence in counselling, assessment, and crisis management situations.
Proven leadership skills, excellent clinical expertise, and the ability to support and mentor staff.  
Excellent writing and verbal skills are required.
Must possess a valid drivers license    
Must pass YWCA Security Clearance with a successful vulnerable sector and criminal background check.
Must provide proof of vaccinations
Primary Duties and Responsibilities may involve the following:
Provide on-call responsibilities as may be required.
Provide recovery-oriented services as per caseload duties and responsibilities including assistance with skills of daily living; medication management; residents with cigarette plans, transportation; social, leisure and recreational activities; crisis intervention; counselling in the areas of problematic substance use and psychosocial rehabilitation; supportive family counselling; group work, and other direct client services.
Organize and conduct case conferences.
Conduct assessments regarding level of functioning, needs and individual goals.
Develop Wellness Plans based on the assessments
Ensure that appropriate database information is gathered as per service benchmarks and outcomes.
Assure appropriate records are completed and maintained such as contact notes, incident reports, statistics, and other reporting requirements.
