Description

We are seeking individuals for a 1A Driver position. The driver's primary function is to deliver equipment to customers as well as equipment to and from Project sites.

-semi and trailer to transport material and equipment over long distances
-Plan trip logistics and obtain required documentation to transport goods
-Perform pre-trip, en-route and post-trip inspection report of vehicle systems, equipment, and accessories
-Ensure cargo is secured properly in accordance with safety requirements and follow safety procedures for transporting dangerous goods
-Obtain special permits and other documents required to transport cargo
-Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
-Maintain log books, trip reports and expenses during trip
-Communicate with site, other drivers and/or customers  
-Knowledge to perform emergency roadside repairs if needed


Desired Skills:
- 1A Drivers License
- Ability to load/unload products both by forklift and manually.
