The ADOC will develop and implement standards of nursing practice, practice guidelines, education strategies, quality management and care system change. The ADOC will assist in recruitment, interviewing, hiring, and accountability of the care services team. The ADOC will contribute to the development of knowledge and the improvement of practice at Samaritan Place. This will be accomplished through the demonstration of leadership and the modeling of professionalism and accountability in all interactions with care team members.
EXPERIENCE
A minimum of five ( 5) years related work experience as a health professional. Previous experience in quality assurance and/or clinical evaluation processes is an asset.
A minimum of five (5) years experience with a combination of clinical management preferable in relation to long term care, integrated care or community health care. (Long Term Care is preferred).
Registered Nurse in good standing with SRNA.
Knowledge of LTCF would be an asset.
Previous supervisory experience would be an asset.
Self-motivated and self-directed with excellent organizational skills.
Previous experience in teaching and mentoring an asset.
