Description

The Community School Recreation Coordinator will work closely with the Recreation Steering Committee to provide leadership in integrated recreation services for the community.

The successful applicant will:
    Plan, implement and manage sport, culture, and recreation programming.
    Will follow the direction and guidance of the Recreation Steering Committee and commit themselves to achieving the communitys goals.
    Carefully manage resources and budget
    Work with community members to create partnerships for recreation, sport, and culture.
    Offer consistent, well-planned programming.
    Get others involved in planning and implementing programs.
    Build human capacity at the community level.

Qualifications:
    Grade 12 Diploma
    Post-secondary education or significant experience in the field of education/recreation/or community development
    First Aid/CPR Training
    Strong oral/written communication skills
    Strong computer skills with a focus on social media
    A valid Saskatchewan drivers license

This is a full-time continuing position starting as soon as possible. The successful candidate will work 40hrs per week. The annual salary for the position is dependent upon qualifications, training, and experience. This position also involves afternoon, evening, and weekend work.
