Description

All Nations Healing Hospital (ANHH) is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT) or Combined Laboratory and X-Ray Technician committed to working with a diverse team. Reporting to the Diagnostics Supervisor, this person, depending on designation, will perform laboratory/ECG and radiology (CLXT) duties for detection, prevention and management of physiological and pathological conditions. This position will work closely with all departments of the ANHH and the Health Services of the File Hills QuAppelle Tribal Council to further promote holistic healing and a commitment to Truth and Reconciliation.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Medical Laboratory Technologist:        
Graduate of approved Medical Laboratory Technology program
Certification by the Canadian Society for Medical Laboratory Science, licensed and registered by the Saskatchewan Society of Medical Laboratory Technologists (SSMLT)
Working with Indigenous clients/patients and rural hospital experience an asset

Combined Laboratory and X-Ray Technician:
Graduate of approved Combined Laboratory and X-Ray Technician program
Licensed and registered by the Saskatchewan Association of Combined Laboratory and X-Ray Technicians (SACLXT)
Completion of Immunology (IMMU193), Cardiac Markers (CHEM 1808), Blood Gases (CHEM 289) and Therapeutic Drugs and Drugs of Abuse (CHEM 1807) courses are required or must be willing to complete
Working with Indigenous clients/patients and rural hospital experience

8 hour shifts Monday to Friday, varying start times and every fourth Saturday and Sunday. Standby required (weekends and weekdays)
