Description

Southeast College is currently recruiting to a contract faculty position within their health programming division. This position will supervise Practicum work for the Continuing Care Assistant cohort in Assiniboia.

Start: June 26, 2023
End: October 27, 2023

Number of contract hours: 231


The ideal candidate will bring these qualifications:
    
-  Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse with a Degree in Nursing or Education or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
-  Current registration with SRNA or RPNAS.
-  Minimum two years of recent relevant experience in geriatric care (i.e. Long-Term Care, Rehabilitation, Home Care, Community Care or Acute Care Medical Units).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team
- Ability to apply the theory, practices and principles of the science of nursing


Salary Range:            
As per the negotiated SGEU Instructor grid, commensurate with education and experience
