SeeMoreGreen is looking for Landscape Lead Hands that assist in performing and coordinating the completion of landscape maintenance projects, optimizing time, manpower and co-ordination of site requirements. We are located about a 5-minute drive south of Saskatoon, so reliable transportation is a requirement of the position.
About the role:
Landscape Lead Hands assist the Landscape Foreman/Crew Leader in performing and coordinating landscape maintenance, accept responsibility when delegated, and follow procedures and policies set out by the Forman/Crew Leader and the company. As Lead Hand your job is, but not limited to assisting in optimizing time, manpower and co-ordination of site requirements i.e.: materials, schedule and completion of tasks. As a leader you will work towards achieving goals and obtain necessary qualifications to adapt, maintain and advance to delivering better outcomes and results.
What you will bring:
Ability to work with power/hand tools, small engine equipment, and materials.
Physically fit with good stamina.
Ability to follow safe working procedures.
Ability to work both independently with little supervision, and as part of a team.
Speak, read, and write English.
Flexibility in working hours including occasional weekend work due to weather and job schedules.
Valid Class 5 Drivers License with Reliable transportation to and from work sites.
Personal smartphone with data plan for daily attendance marking, communication, and reporting.
Work Conditions:
Various locations including both residential and commercial landscape construction sites.
Working near heavy equipment and other vehicles on a regular basis.
Working outdoors in various conditions including cold, heat and humidity, rain, dust, and noise.
Working flexible hours including occasional weekend work, stat holidays, and out-of-town work where required.
