Start Date: To be agreed on by all parties    
Hours: 8:30am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday, 7 hours/day
Rate of Pay: Competitive salary and benefits, Commensurate with training and experience

The Opportunity:
Working under the direction of the Superintendent of Student Services, Holy Family and the Executive Director, Weyburn Early Years Family Resource Center (WEY FRC) the Early Years Community Coordinator will provide capacity to strategically plan and implement integrated early childhood development strategies that address needs identified by early childhood indicators for Weyburn and surrounding areas. This position will translate early childhood pedagogy, theory, and research into practice through expert knowledge in early childhood development.

Skills/Training:    
Post-secondary degree in Social Work, Education, Early Childhood, Psychology, or other from a recognized institution is required
Extensive experience and practice in early childhood theory is considered an asset
Knowledge, skills and experience working with young children and families
Exceptional skills in development of relationships
Proven connections with early years leaders and agencies in Weyburn & area
Proficiency in the operation of technology
Requirements:  
Recent (within 6 months) Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Check upon employment
Possess a valid Class 5 driver's license, and a reliable vehicle to travel within Weyburn and surrounding areas.
