Southeast College is looking for an energetic and competent IT professional to join their growing team!
This full-time position is based in Weyburn SK. Geographical responsibilities span the entire Southeast region. Must hold a valid drivers license and be willing to travel as the position requires.

Typical duties may include, but are not limited to:
Provide first line response to users requiring assistance with IT services, tracking all requests through to completion and update appropriate knowledgebase and tracking systems.
Act as a liaison between College staff and technical teams where requests require escalated service team support.
Recommend and implement the appropriate hardware and software to meet the needs of instructors and their students.
Deploy appropriate software and equipment based on need.
Maintain Standard Operating Practices (SOP) documentation to ensure consistent service delivery.
Maintain Standard operating environments and monitor for exceptions (rogue devices, and non-acceptable use).
Knowledge of Standard Operating Environment which includes: Exchange e-Mail, TEAMS, One drive, SharePoint, File & Print, Wired network and Wi-Fi and TCP/IP, ITIL, NIST Cybersecurity, LMS (Blackboard, Google Classroom, Moodle, etc.).
The minimum relevant knowledge or formal training essential to perform the functions of this position is a four-year degree in an IT or Information Science discipline.
A minimum of two years recent and relevant experience in end-user support and front-end innovation of an IT framework.
Preference may be given to candidates demonstrating experience with creating and implementing technology strategies for classroom application.
