Description

Reporting to the COO, as an integral part of Vendastas Senior Leadership Team, you will provide leadership, strategy and direction to the mid-market sales team. The Vice President of Mid-Market Sales will be hyper focused on growing revenue through the acquisition of new customers and the expansion of existing customers within our largest and growing, mid-market sales organization.  

The ideal candidate will possess a deep knowledge and understanding of the SaaS sales process, market trends, and customer needs. This role will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, driving revenue growth, and building and managing a high-performing sales team to achieve revenue targets and goals for the organization.

Responsibilities:
People Leadership
Provides vision and direction to the teams to ensure there is alignment and clarity in achieving revenue goals and targets across functional teams
Strategic and Operational Sales Leadership
Develops plans and strategies for developing business opportunities and achieving sales goals.
Defines sales processes that drive desired sales outcomes and identifies improvements where and when required to drive efficiencies.
Customer Success
Manages customer expectations and contributes to a high level of customer satisfaction and favourable NPS.
Compiles information and data related to customer and prospect interactions

Qualifications:
8+ years experience in a medium sized growth business, preferably within a SaaS environment
Prior experience leading a mid-market sales team with a demonstrated track record successfully scaling an organization of a similar size/stage; $100M-$200M in revenue
Demonstrated success in implementing revenue and sales strategies and generating revenue
Ability to create and foster cross-functional networks and manage without authority
Effective leadership, influencing and communication skills. Managed teams of 50+
Bsc in Management, Finance or similar (MBA preferred)
