Sutton Farms Ltd is looking for a farm hand for the 2023 growing season. We are a family owned and operated grain farm located 15 minutes east of Leader, Saskatchewan. This opportunity could lead to a full-time position for many years. Work could begin immediately and wages will be negotiable based on experience. Hours of work may vary but the right candidate must be willing to work long hours and weekends during the busy season. During the off-season, hours and days off will be flexible.
Farm duties would include:
- Operating farm equipment
- Repairs and maintenance of farm machinery
- Hauling grain
- General farm work
- Farm yard upkeep
The qualified candidate must:
- Be dependable and have a strong work ethic
- Be honest, reliable, and have a positive attitude
- Be self-motivated and able to work independently when required
- Good communications skills
- Have a class 1 license or be extremely willing to get one, class 5 is required
- Understand that this job includes all aspects of farming, not just driving equipment
