Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 Years Aquatic Experience
- LSS Life Saving Instructor
- LSS National Lifeguard
- LSS Instructor, Trainer & Examiner
- CPR "C" and Standard First Aid or Aquatic Emergency Care
- Level 1 Pool Operators Course
Responsibilities:
- Ensure quality programs and services are available at the pool;
- Enforce policies and procedures, which ensure efficient and effective operation of the facility, including personnel supervision, management, payroll and training;
- Coordinate programs, staffing, pool maintenance and cleaning;
- Perform chemical testing and analysis to ensure the pool water meets the requirements of Public Health;
- Ensure the facility is shut down and secured at the end of each day; and,
- Other duties as assigned by the Manager of Recreation & Community Development.
All qualifications must be proven as current.
Preference will be given to applicants that Self-Identify as Members of Visible Minority Groups; including, but not limited to, First Nations, Metis and Inuit.
Preference will also be given to applicants with a Current Level 1 Pool Operators Course.
