Job Description: Accountable for accurate planning, organizing, directing and controlling of activities in the department to ensure high quality, cost effective food service, to residents, Community Day Program customers, and visitors, in a pleasant, home environment.  This is achieved through efficient management of human resources, application of therapeutic diet standards in menu planning, effective food purchasing, and efficient food service delivery and equipment utilization.  The Food and Nutrition Services Manager has accountability for the efficient delivery of all aspects of food service including revenue generation in the cafeteria.
Required Qualifications

Licensed and in good standing with professional association and/or regulatory body, if applicable
Undergraduate degree or diploma in Nutrition & Food Management program, Degree in Nutrition & Dietetics, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Valid Class 5 Driver's license
Experience
- 5 years experience in Nutrition and Food Services, Management experience an asset.

An external successful applicant must provide a satisfactory and valid Criminal Record Check, including a Vulnerable Sector query, before an Offer of Employment can be made.

The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) requires a criminal record check (CRC) from every potential SHA team member. The CRC must be dated within the past six (6) months and be satisfactory to the SHA. A vulnerable sector check (VSC) is required for individuals providing patient/resident/client care to vulnerable persons. Internal candidates may be required to provide a CRC and/or VSC during the recruitment and selection process.
