Description

The Ministry of Education is seeking a dynamic leader as a Director of the Curriculum Unit, Student Achievement and Supports Branch who is experienced in curriculum renewal and development, human resources including managing staff work plans and has the ability to meet tight deadlines.

The role will:

Provide leadership to the Ministry of Education and education sector stakeholders with respect to curriculum development and implementation.
Manage the relationships with external stakeholders and other ministries.
Provide strategic advice to the Executive Director in the area of curriculum renewal.
Ideal Candidate

You will be an innovative leader who is able to:

manage and lead multiple projects at any given time;
work with a variety of staff and stakeholders with varied perspectives;
plan strategically for existing and future priorities; and,
demonstrate extensive knowledge of Saskatchewans educational curricula.
Typically, the knowledge and competencies for this position would be acquired through the completion of a Master of Education degree or related degree, combined with leadership, management and program development experience.
