Description

The Information Technology Division (ITD) of the Ministry of SaskBuilds and Procurement supplies a full-range of IT services to government ministries and agencies. It supports government customers with help desk, hardware and software, application development and IT security services. The ITD also sets government-wide policies and standards in IT infrastructure, IT support services and security.

The Citizen Centric Program Delivery branch is seeking an individual who is an effective communicator, cross team collaborator with strong interpersonal, analytical and problem solving skills for the position of Manager, Application Management Services. Reporting to the Director of Application Delivery Services, you will be responsible for leading, supporting, developing and mobilizing a dynamic group of individuals to work toward a shared purpose in the best interests of the branch, Government of Saskatchewan and service delivery to citizens. In this position, you will have the opportunity to work with and advise senior executives in government on all aspects of application support and lifecycle management, and lead teams involving multiple ministries and external resources.

Typically, the knowledge and skills required for this position would be attained through the completion of a degree in computer science or a related discipline, supplemented by related technical and management experience in a large fast-paced IT environment. The successful candidate will be committed to professional development and staying current in a changing IT landscape.
