Description

Under the direction of the Property Manager, the Snow &Grounds Technician is responsible to perform work and contribute to the organizations overall success.  This position is also responsible for maintaining Namerind standards; operate a wide range of tools and equipment, ensure compliance with legislation and safety related regulations. This position may be required to work extended hours holidays and weekend.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY/ACCOUNTABILITY:    
    Complete yard maintenance and snow removal as required.
    Documents and submits regular maintenance reports on status of work performed and/or identifies issues/concerns with respect to needed services and repairs requiring follow-up.  
    Identifies mechanical and other contractor work required; communicates requirements.
    Determines necessary materials, equipment and supplies and makes recommendations as required.
    Operates a wide range of tools and equipment (e.g. snow blower, chain saws, weed trimmer and lawn mowers etc.)
    Ensures laws, regulations, policies, and procedures are followed.
    Perform work in a safe manner and take necessary safety precautions as required (on-site).
    Performs related duties as required.

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES:
    A valid drives license is necessary.
    Experience operating Equipment; such as Skid steer and Fork Lift
