Description

The Fleet Manager will be responsible for ordering, managing, forecasting, and maximizing efficiency for all of Brandt fleet assets.   This role will lead a team of individuals to work with all areas of Brandt, and vendors to report and oversee total cost of ownership of the assets.  They will use data and analytics, to bring best practices for fleet management, maintenance solutions and operating costs for the lifecycle of the fleet.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the company's ordering and support of fleet vehicles. Including upfitting, delivery, maintenance, repairs, registration, fuel, and insurance requirements to ensure they are safe, dependable, and presentable to Brandt standards.
- Provide coaching and direction to the Brandt Fleet team and interpret system data and reports, providing a business perspective and enabling consistency and improvements.
- Develop and implement fleet management policies and procedures, including vehicle utilization, fuel management, and driver safety programs.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, provincial, state, and local regulations related to fleet operations, including licensing, registration, and inspections.
- Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective vehicle ordering, maintenance, and repair services.
- Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date fleet management records and reports, including vehicle inventory, maintenance schedules, and fuel usage.
- Manage and report on operational performance of the fleet, such as life cycle management, fuel consumption, and overall health of the assets.
- Provide after-hours support.
- Manage and utilize telematics, to proactively manage the overall cost of the asset.
- Communicate maintenance requirements to ensure maximum efficiency.
- Analyze maintenance costs and/or repairs and provide expert recommendations.
- Assist in the development of a budget.
- Other duties as assigned.
