JOB SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the VP of Swine Production, this position will be responsible for the following:
-Supporting the Vice-President and the Director of Production
-Procurement, coordinate agendas, organize meetings, appointments, travel
-Providing administrative support to teams in various sectors
-Drafting and preparing letters, news releases, minutes, presentations and other types of documents including briefs for various government agencies, as well as transcription and formatting contracts and agreements
-Develop and organize corporate activities/events, newsletters, etc.
-Doing follow-up on files and monitoring timetables
-Coordinate vacations, absences, and/or leaves
-Updating files
-Managing various reports & compilation of data
-Other administrative duties
QUALIFICATIONS:
-Relevant diploma or university degree
-5+ years of relevant experience in a similar position
-Proficiency in written and spoken English (French would be an asset)
-Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite applications
-A high degree of autonomy, initiative and interpersonal skills
-Organized, methodical, discreet, high level of confidentiality and professionalism in carrying out duties
-Ability to work under pressure and manage several files simultaneously
-Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong organizational skills, detail oriented
-Work with minimal supervision and deal with people professionally, both internal and externally
-Efficient in working with Microsoft Office
-Ability to work in a flexible and changing environment
