This is a temporary part-time position with an average of 26 hours per week.
Conduct intake and needs assessments for Temporary Foreign Workers (TFWs)
Address identified needs and provide support, including case management
Provide referrals to programs and services, and conduct a follow up with clients
Organize information and orientation sessions on issues that affect TFWs
Hosting community connection events
Conduct outreach to TFWs and diverse stakeholders
Promote the project and the tfwhub.ca website widely to increase awareness amongst a broad spectrum of stakeholders
Work closely with employer partners and community organizations to form and/or deepen partnerships and increase partners understanding of the realities faced by TFWs
Actively engage in all project meetings, workshops and training sessions
Administer a plain-language survey for measuring impact of project participation to participating TFWs
Update projects data collection tools on an ongoing basis to support projects reporting requirements
Prepare reports
Other tasks
Class 5 driver's license is a requirement.
Fluency in another language will be an asset.
