Facility: BATTLEFORDS MENTAL HEALTH CENTRE
Job Description: The incumbent will be responsible for:
Maintaining a caseload, Co-facilitating psycho-educational groups with a Mental Health Therapist
Providing Community Mental Health outreach in co-operation with community partners such as the Battlefords Union Hospital Emergency Department, the RCMP and Canadian Mental Health Association.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Nursing or Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Psychiatric Nursing
Registered or eligible for registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS) or Registered Psychiatric Nurses Association of Saskatchewan (RPNAS)
Valid Class 5 driver's license
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team

Additional Qualifications continued:
A minimum of 5 years of experience working in an acute mental health care environment.
Proven knowledge and experience related to evidence based practice as it relates to psychiatry and psychiatric nursing, DSM V Psychiatric diagnoses, Psychotropic medications, substance use disorders, the Saskatchewan Mental Health Act (particularly the sections that apply to community treatment/apprehension) and LEAN methodology.

This is a designated field hours position.
