Positions will provide the day to day supervision, support, and guidance to the clients at Pekiwewin:
Support each clients in regards to their holistic healing journey in the areas of spiritual, emotional, mental, and physical well-being.
Provide assistance to each client in meeting their daily, weekly, and monthly goals/ aspirations.
Completion of required documentation for each youth.
Transport to/from school, appointments, activities.
Provide basic/enhanced life skills coaching
Assist the youth at arranging appointments, etc.
Provide basic academic tutoring
Must be reliable, motivated, be living a healthy addictions free lifestyle, practice personal wellness, and have an interest in utilizing First Nations traditions and practices in personal healing.
Excellent interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication skills; physical activity interests.
Qualifications: require a minimum of a Grade 12 or equivalent, valid drivers license, acceptable CPIC and Vulnerable Sector Search. Preference will be given to candidates who possess a Certificate or Diploma in Social Work, Psychology, Youth Care Worker, Addictions or other Human Services field and one (1) year of experience working with youth, addictions and/or mental health treatment.
