Description

Tisdale Housing Authority manages a property and program services portfolio on behalf of Saskatchewan Housing Corporation.   The housing authority provides affordable housing to low-income seniors, families and others who could not otherwise access safe, secure shelter within Tisdale and neighboring communities.

Tisdale Housing Authority is looking for an energetic, client facing administrator to join the team.   If people are your passion and you have proven problem solving, financial and records management experience you may be interested in our team!

What you will do:
Process housing applications, conduct income reviews, calculate rental fees, and collect rent
Explain leasing agreements and expectations of tenancy
Investigate lease violations; assist and perform procedures for tenant hearings in conjunction with the Office of the Residential Tenancies
Monitor, maintain contact, and manage record keeping of current/former tenants
Liaise with tenants, families, human service agencies and stakeholders to help make everyday life and the social housing experience safer, healthier and more enjoyable for all tenants
Prepare and monitor banking statements, review financial reports and investigate discrepancies
Maintain office systems and procedures and provide guidance to administrative support

What we are looking for:
exceptional customer relations skills and ability to maintain positive work relationships
ability to problem solve, manage conflict and stressful situations
Superior administrative and accounting skills
accountability and ownership of the role with demonstrated leadership and teamwork skills

What you will need:
Some post-secondary in business administration or social services with experience in a property management environment OR an equivalent combination of education and experience
Respect for the diversity of others
Valid Class 5 drivers license and road-worthy vehicle
Proven expertise using Microsoft Office products
