Description

La Ronge is part of the tri-community of Lac La Ronge Indian Band and Air Ronge with a total population of over 7000.  Situated on the western shore of beautiful Lac La Ronge, La Ronge is the gateway to exploring Saskatchewans far north.  There are many sandy beaches and year-round recreational activities from canoeing and fishing the Churchill River to some of the greatest cross-country ski trails.

Churchill Community High School is a great school with a tradition of excellence in academics, athletics, and the fine arts. CCHS has a student population of 527 and a professional staff component of 36.

This is a temporary full-time teaching position to start April 17, 2023, and until June 23, 2023.  The successful candidate must be eligible for Saskatchewan Professional or Provisional Professional A teaching certification. Salary is according to the provincial grid plus a benefits package that includes a housing subsidy and a northern living allowance.  Moving assistance may also be available.
