Description

Ronald McDonald House Charities SK (RMHC-SK) promotes Family Centered Care, providing accommodation and supports to families of sick children while they are receiving medical treatment at a local hospital.
The Family Service Associate reports to the Family Service Coordinator and is part of a team responsible for family safety, comfort and support. They play an important role in facilitating and supporting Family Centered Care
Responsibilities Include:
Family and Guest Relations
-Provide an excellent first impression to all families and visitors, and be a strong and compassionate ambassador of RMHC-SK
-Support the day-to-day operations of Family Services
-Assist with providing risk management and emergency support to both family services and house operations
-Handle all incoming family calls, assess family needs, adhere to referral and admission policies and assign rooms accordingly
-Provide communication and support to Facilities staff with regard to room cleaning, repair and upkeep
-Share information about local services, attractions, and events
-Provide training, direction and supervise volunteers
-Manage the family database, prepare invoices, collect and process room fees, manage inventory, and maintain other administrative processes
-Responsible for delivery of Family Programming

-Strong computer skills
-Pass Police and Vulnerable Sector Record Check
-Proof of COVID 19 Vaccination required for all RMHC-SK staff
-Social Work education or helping profession experience
