As part of the mine engineering team, you will provide engineering expertise through surveying, ventilation, production and development layouts, short term planning, ground control and project work. You will work closely with the mine engineering group to further develop your work experience while providing your expertise in all aspects of mine engineering in an underground mine.
The successful candidate will work a term of approximately one year (May 2023 to May 2024) and will assist with a variety of projects and other day-to-day activities.
You will work a rotational schedule commuting to the site by aircraft.
You will be entering your third or fourth year of university in mine or geological engineering or other applicable academic fields. This position is looking for a student part of a Co-op Internship Program. You must be returning to school for the academic semester following your work term with Cameco.
Preference will be given to residents of Saskatchewans north (RSN) pursuing post-secondary education.
Interviews will take place in April 2023. Students will be notified if they are selected for an interview.
