In this role, you will:
- Work with the architectural team to provide schematic and design development documents (including presentation drawings, renderings, walk-throughs, and 3D modeling).
- Examine drawings for conformity and error.
- Attend site meetings and provide site reviews.
- Prepare and process contract administration documents such as supplementary instructions, proposed changes, change orders and payment certificates.
- Review shop drawings. Review O&M manuals.
- Manage the implementation of supporting software for BIM.
- Assist in the development and compliance of BIM documentation and workflow process standards.
- Provide support for printing and electronic file submissions.
- Provide quality control for completeness and adherence to company standards.
- Train and oversee the day-to-day activities of Autodesk users.
Candidate requirements:
Education: Diploma in Architectural Technology.
Experience: 3 - 8 years in a similar Architectural Technology position, with the ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications. Knowledge of construction detailing for a variety of building systems and types. Knowledge of building codes and regulations.
Technical: Proficiency using Revit, SketchUp, BIM, Rhino and Bluebeam. Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, and Outlook.
