Job Purpose

Under the general supervision of the Manager, Maintenance Stores and Logistics, this position is responsible to analyze the quantity of aircraft spares required for inventory and manage contracting component repairs and overhauls. The position is responsible to expedite repairs and orders to respond to maintenance team needs and to collaborate with reliability program personnel to establish optimum inventory levels.

Primary Responsibilities

Responsible for the daily analysis of inventory and issue appropriate repair orders to meet company demand and ensure appropriate stock levels.
Support the manager in sourcing, pricing, purchasing and long-term planning for rotable trading.
Build relationships and communicate with vendors regarding capabilities, work-scopes, order updates, on-time delivery, cost estimates, quote approvals and participate in pricing negotiations.
Ensure accuracy of certificates and work with vendors to correct documentation as required.
Ensure charges for repairs are in accordance with repair estimates and agreements.
Resolve issues related to vendor quality and performance including planning back-up solutions to ensure availability of material.
Responsible for warranty administration and identification of potential claims and management of actual claims.
