Job Description: Primary Health is a delivery model that utilizes integrated, interdisciplinary teams of health professionals and community engagement/partnerships to provide high quality service as close to home as possible, at the most appropriate time, by the most appropriate person. The Primary Health Educator Senior reports to the Manager, Primary Health and is accountable for the development, implementation, facilitation, evaluation, and research of local Primary Health initiatives. Some examples are the West Winds Primary Health Center (Saskatoon), White Buffalo Youth Lodge (Saskatoon), Wynyard Community Clinic and Delisle Primary Health Care Centre.
Required Qualifications

Degree in health or social related field
Relevant education/experience related to team facilitation, community development, health systems, policy development, and evaluation and research e.g. developing high performance teams; facilitating workshops; post-secondary programs on evaluation, research and leadership
Experience
Minimum of two years' experience in a Primary Health setting preferred e.g. participation on a Primary Health team; experience with collaborative team functioning, experience with community participatory activities.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to integrate computer knowledge with the need for team communication, enhanced community participation and data collection
Basic training in conflict resolution, mediation, coaching and Lean would be an asset
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for individual, small group, and large group interaction both within the Region and the Community
Knowledge, attitudes, and skills that support caring for people across different languages and cu
