Description

The Moose Jaw Housing Authority seeks a full-time Tenant Support Worker to join our team!  Are you a forward-thinking, outgoing individual who brings their best to work each day, is not afraid to work hard and have fun?  If so, please read on!

As part of the MJHA Administration Team, the Tenant Support Worker is responsible for assisting in the day to day operations of the Housing Authority.  The Tenant Support Worker works closely with the Operations Manager, Tenant Services Manager, and the Administration Manager to coordinate, develop, deliver, and monitor effectiveness of programs and services for all tenants and other client groups of the Moose Jaw Housing Authority.  This will include the development and management of fundraising projects, locally and beyond.

Administrative work is a large part of this position and is an integral part of the MJHA office operations, with daily support to our Administration Services Team.    

Our Tenant Support Worker will:
-Possess strong organization and time management skills; have a professional manner and possess a positive attitude;
-Familiar with office procedures and the effective use of technology;
-Knowledge/experience working with seniors, families, and/or typical tenants;
-Learn quickly, be detail-oriented, while working in a team-based environment.

A strong desire to develop existing skills and learn new ones is absolutely essential to succeed in this position.  

Education/Experience:
Diploma in business/administration or human services field, plus two (2) years' experience in an administration or human services field; or an equivalent combination of education or experience.

A valid drivers license and vehicle are necessary for this position; which also involves walking and climbing stairs as several of our buildings are high rises with many floors.
