Overview:
As part of the Department of Protective Services, the City of Humboldt is currently seeking to fill a seasonal, full-time Community Development Coordinator position to begin immediately. This term will last approximately 5 months, with the possibility of extension.
Under the direction of the Director of Protective Services and the City Manager; the Community Development Coordinator will assist in municipal planning and land and building developments within the City of Humboldt.
The successful candidate will ensure that development proposals comply with Zoning Bylaws, the Official Community Plan, Cities Act, Planning and Development Act, or any other relevant local, provincial, or federal regulation. The position requires working with other Departments within the City to contribute to the Citys overall goals.
Qualifications:
- At least two years of education towards a University Degree or Technical Institution Diploma in Planning or a related discipline from a recognized post-secondary institution.
- Proficiency in computer software, including but not limited to Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and GIS Products.
- Possession of a valid Saskatchewan Class 5 Drivers License.
- Satisfactory Criminal Record Check
Compensation:
This is an out-of-scope position with an hourly rate of $25.33 (2022 rate).
