What we are looking for:
The WRSOS is seeking highly self-motivated individuals able to work independently from home to answer and respond to WRSOS helpline calls. The responsibility of the Wildlife Helpline Educator is to provide information to the caller on how to resolve their concern and to minimize the unnecessary removal of wildlife from their natural habitat unless it is truly orphaned, injured or in need of assistance. If the animal is in need of help it is up to the Wildlife Helpline Educator to coordinate a way for that animal to be rescued/picked up and transported to the nearest target veterinarian or wildlife rehabilitator. The management of helpline calls is the most important role of the WRSOS organization. Additional duties include logging all calls, coordinating hotline shifts, following up on unresolved calls, additional admin tasks and the occasional rescuing of wildlife when required.

The position will be 35 hours a week at $14.50 per hour.
