- Responsible for timely, accurate and complete recording of information required for each individual youth
- Interact and monitor children consistently throughout the shift
- Ensure routines are followed consistently
- Identify and document areas of strengths and weakness of the youth on the Individual Crisis Management Plan (ICMP)
- Maintain an effective and positive relationship between the program and external partners involved in the lives of the children in program
Transportation of children (medical appointments, shopping, court, recreation and cultural outings)
- Plan a monthly recreational activities chart with the children and submit to the Program Manager
- Provide mediation/conflict resolution for youth when required
- Ensure Risk Reviews, Safety Contracts and Safety Plans are completed as needed and are being adhered to.
- Complete Critical Incident Reports as per 4DCFS policy
- Staff will participate in all group activities and recreational programming
-All staff report and follow procedures for emergency situations
- In addition to the supervision of the children, responsibilities may include household duties such as cleaning, laundry, baking or food preparation, minor repairs, and other assigned duties
- Complete maintenance reports and submit to the Facilities Manager
- Attendance at meetings, training and workshops as requested
- Adhere to all 4DCFS Inc. policy & procedure manuals
Other duties as requested by the Program Manager
