The Receptionist is the first face that people see when they visit our centre, and is responsible for most of the administrative activities at Carmichael Outreach Inc. This position also communicates directly with the public, be they guests in need of Carmichaels services, people wishing to make donations, potential volunteers, and more!
Duties may include, but will not be limited to:
-Overseeing the front desk including answering the phone, responding to inquiries, directing calls, emails, guest sign in sheets & greeting guests
Scheduling appointments for people to drop off donations
-Processing incoming and outgoing mail including: Business & Client
-Photocopying, scanning, & filing in both an electronic & paper file system
-Monitoring the front area, directing guests
Data entry of programs (Meal number, etc.)
-Processing customer payments for donations
-Other various administrative tasks as needed.
