Description

Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Human Resource Manager will be a key member of the Nations leadership team and is a strategic manager who provides guidance, direction and support on all human resource matters. They will address complex organizational challenges by providing HR leadership and support in achieving the goals of the Nation while ensuring the constant improvement of the employee relations and labour relations climate. The Manager will lead the development and implementation of strategic HR Services within the Nations band operations, including labour forecasting & planning, recruitment & retention, policy development and oversight of the full employee performance assessment cycle. The HR Manager will also aid in the administration of payroll, employee benefit plans, health & safety standards, and professional development and training.
