RESPONSIBILITIES
Under the supervision of an Agrologist, you will inspect producers fields recording weed, insects
and diseases to be provided back to the farmer to help them make informed and timely field crop
decisions. You will also assist with field trials, data collection and field tour preparations;
Preparing transportation documents and providing on-farm delivers in a half-ton truck; Customer
service to Agronomy clients; Loading and unloading chemical in the warehouse. You will be
provided with equipment such as vehicle and cell phone to help you do your job. Other duties as
assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
Successful applicants will be working toward a University degree or College Diploma, preferably
in Agriculture (Science). Must have positive attitude, enthusiasm for agriculture and the ability to
work outdoors for extended periods of time in all weather conditions. Farm background would be
an asset. You will need a valid drivers license and clean driving record. Applicants may be
considered for the Student Development Program which provides summer employment while
completing education and placement in the Co-op Retailing System following successful
completion of degree or diploma. seasonal hours approximately May September, 2023. This
position is classified as a Safety Sensitive Position and therefore is subject to our Alcohol &
Substance policy as a condition of employment.
