The Saskatchewan Public Safety Agency (SPSA) is a treasury board crown responsible for emergency communications including Sask911 and SaskAlert, wildfire management, emergency management and fire safety. This centralized agency ensures a single point of contact for communities, greater co-ordination of provincial resources and contributes to safer communities in our province.
The SPSA is seeking an organized, results-oriented, team player for the position of GIS Analyst, in the Emergency Communications, Technical and Support Services Division/Branch. The position is going to report to the Director of Information Technology.
The successful candidate will have a GIS diploma or certificate from a recognized institute or 5 years experience in a similar GIS capacity. The position requires a valid drivers license and a valid criminal record check. Obtaining an enhanced reliability clearance will also be required, this is completed after the employee has started in the position.
