Description

Richardson Oilseed is one of Canadas oldest and largest fully-integrated oilseed processing and packaging operations with three facilities across Canada. We currently have an opportunity for an Extraction/Meal Operator at our Yorkton - Oilseed location.  Extraction operators are responsible for the safe operation of the Extraction Plant process, including all ancillary equipment.
Responsibilities:
-Operate and monitor all process equipment.
-Ensure process is operated within the given range for all parameters.
-Monitor all process equipment for purposes of lubrication, maintenance requirement and operational efficiencies.
-Understand and comply with all workplace health and safety requirements, company policies and procedures and general workplace rules.
-Confined Space entry is required
-Participate in the day to day health and safety program by working in a safe manner at all times
Qualifications:
-Must have grade 12 or equivalent combined with excellent written, documentation and verbal communications skills.
-Must have mechanical aptitude
-Must have a good work performance and attendance record and be willing to work rotating shift schedule, weekends and overtime.
-Experience in a Manufacturing Plant environment would be considered an asset.
