Tron Construction and Mining, proudly owned by English River First Nation, is committed to creating opportunities and benefits for Aboriginal workers and communities. We are seeking expressions of interest for Journeyperson & Apprentice Industrial instrument technicians and mechanics to help support future projects located throughout Northern Saskatchewan and Alberta.
Job Summary: Industrial instrument technicians and mechanics repair, maintain, calibrate, adjust, and install industrial measuring and controlling instrumentation. Individuals may work on remote, industrial or construction sites on a specified work rotation.
Scope of Responsibilities:
Utilizing specific practical and technical trade knowledge in the day-to-day function of your position on construction, maintenance, or infrastructure projects.
Complete job hazard assessment and put mitigation strategies into place on a task-by-task basis.
Take direction and perform tasks with minimum supervision.
Read engineered drawings and specifications to perform work.
Determine materials required for each job and able to effectively plan task sequence.
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years experience in an industrial/construction work environment.
Registered Journeyperson or indentured apprentice.
