Tron Construction and Mining, proudly owned by English River First Nation, is committed to creating opportunities and benefits for Aboriginal workers and communities. We are seeking expressions of interest for Quality Control Inspectors to help support future projects located throughout Northern Saskatchewan and Alberta.
Job Summary: Construction inspectors inspect the construction and maintenance of new and existing buildings, bridges, highways and industrial construction to ensure that specifications and building codes are observed and monitor work site safety. Inspectors and testers in this unit group inspect, grade, sample or test raw materials and products from operations.
Scope of Responsibilities:
Ensure all day-to-day work performed is done safely.
Work with production team to ensure that all aspects of the project are done to the highest quality standards.
Assist construction team to ensure all materials ordered for the project follow client, and Tron specifications and are accurate.
Report daily to the construction team with quality progress and upcoming inspection and test plan hold points.
Qualifications:
Engineer or Red Seal Trade is required.
5 years of experience with QA systems, regulations, guidelines, associated standards, or field related job experience.
Knowledge of ISO9001 QA methodologies OR proof of successful completion of major projects.
