Facility: Saskatoon City Hospital
Job Description: The psychologist will be assigned to the Saskatchewan Operational Stress Injury Clinic (OSIC), with the responsibility for the development of psychological assessment and treatment services for patients with operational stress injuries. The psychologist will also provide consultation to the program's multidisciplinary services to patients and their families. The incumbent will be a Ph.D. psychologist with training and/or experience in the areas of assessing, treating, and providing consultation
Required Qualifications

Eligibility for and attainment of the Approved Practice Endorsement from the Saskatchewan College of Psychologists.
Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from an accredited (CPA or APA) program
Successful completion of a CPA and/or APA accredited pre-doctoral internship program.
Experience
Supervised experience and training in the Prolonged Exposure Therapy and Cognitive Processing Therapy is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Assessment, treatment, and consultation expertise in areas relating to the impact of psycho-social factors on occupationally attributed mental disorders, and experience working within a multidisciplinary treatment program
Demonstrated clinical assessment and therapy skills in the area of major mental disorders, with emphasis on post-traumatic stress disorder

The successful applicant will be entered into our intensive training and mentorship program.  This will include training in Prolonged Exposure, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and another of the applicant's choice that is approved as suitable for the work.  In addition, attendance at conferences that match the scope of our practice is paid for and encouraged.  Other opportun
